Well, the "1st August" date has gone by. I was hoping we could have run this as a VGG anniversary competition. Oh well. Had quite a bit of player feedback though. Thanks guys for that. I've completed it a few times myself now, so good to get new feedback - easy to get snowblind.

Did... did I just lose my whole weekend to a prototype game idea? When was the last time that happened? I'm happy the game flourished so quickly though. Concept to functional skeleton in a few days.

I've got an annoying sprite flickering glitch going on, and I've got no idea what's causing it. I need to work out how to debug Flash better.

Hmmm. Years ago we threw together a game called Runway where the player was presented with a question with 4 answers - depending on which answer was picked would determine whether the player progressed along the game's path by 1, 2, 3 or 4 spaces. I'm thinking there might be a way to combine this with an RPG concept, so I'm starting to throw together some ideas.

As I'm doing this ... let's take a look at Flash at the same time. Make it a learning experience.
